My Santa Barbara based trio;"Bagunça" which features Randy Tico on bass and Kevin Winard on drums has been playing a couple times a month - The Brazilian Portuguese word "Bagunca" can mean many things like "make a mess" or "go out and party" It's also way of describing the way the trio throw many styles together in a Brazilian dance music context. The authentic Samba collides with a Earth Wind and Fire cover song and neo-soul vibes cross fade with Brazilian popular music or MPB.
